Diwan Salim Singh set an eye on the village girl and ordered his guards to force the villagers to hand her over to Diwan. While leaving, the brahmins cursed that the land could not be inhibited by anyone. The village was never re-inhabited for reasons unknown and unusual activities are noted in that place.
